The print is black and white depicting the entryway of a extravagant building with a statue above the doorway. It is a municipal building in Nancy, France.

Back: Wooden frame is backed with brown paper and tape. A metal ring is nailed into the back on the top. a handwritten note is on the brown paper and tape.

Front: In the bottom right corner is a the building name “Nancy Entrée du Musée Lorrain” and signature from the artist.

Inscription- “Novembre 1948. Merci et affectueux souvenir de trois enfants de Lorraine qui n'oublie pas ce qu'ils doivent aux ÉTATS-UNIS de Denise, Claude Madeleine et Jacques Etienne Rieger”
